Author has three plans and no free plan. Payments are in test mode during early access, so nothing is charged yet.

| | Pro | Premium | Max |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price per month | €9 | €19 | €49 |
| Books, novellas, short stories | 25 | 50 | Unlimited |
| The whole writing room | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Your own AI connected (MCP agent door) | No | Yes | Yes |
| A built-in AI | None | None | None |

## What "the whole writing room" means

Manuscript, cast, strands, events, the timeline, continuity checks, versions with diffs, world maps, beta-reader links, exports, and the sync of profiles from Geenius OS. All of them work on every plan, and without any AI.

## The connection for your own AI

On Premium and Max, your own AI can work on your books through Geenius OS. On Pro, a Geenius OS Pro plan or no plan, the door refuses with `PLAN_REQUIRED` and names Premium.

## When you reach a limit

Creating one more book than your plan allows is refused and the app shows a sheet with the plans. Nothing is deleted.

## Geenius OS

A Geenius OS plan includes the matching Author plan: OS Pro includes Pro, OS Premium includes Premium and OS Max includes Max. You sign in with the same account.
